A hand printed linocut print inspired by and created on the Isle of Islay off the west coast of Scotland.
This print is presented un-mounted on A5 Snowden paper, printed area approx 100mmx100mm.
Teasel - Winter Seed Head
This Lino print was inspired by the seed heads we collect from our garden in December. By the time Christmas arrives the birds have had their fill of the seeds that these plants provide and we use them to decorate our home.
They were designed in late summer 2020, after sketching, we then transfer the design to Lino and carve it with a fine tool. Each is individually handprinted by us on the Isle of Islay and is therefore unique.
