Original Seaweed Pressing, Lyngbye's Cock's Comb, Isle of Islay, 2025

A truly beautiful and unique original hand pressed piece of Islay seaweed.

I aim to recreate the beauty of what lies beneath the waves on Islay. This piece has been collected (with permission) as drift seaweed during my snorkelling adventures. It has then very carefully been cleaned and pressed into cotton rag paper. 

Preserve this pressing for years to come, by hanging it out of direct sunlight.

This piece has been mounted - the external size of the mount measures 12 inches square.
