A hand printed linocut print inspired by and created on the Isle of Islay off the west coast of Scotland.
This print is presented either as stand alone on A5 paper (printed area 150x100) or in an ivory/white mount measuring 10x8 inches. Please note the oak frame is not included.
Harebell
A stunning and delicate blue flower that appears here on Islay in July. Abundant on road verges as well as dry sunny slopes, they add a gorgeous blue hue to our summer wildflower display.
Known as the Bluebell of Scotland this Harebell design was sketched on The Oa in July 2020 close to our home on Islay. After sketching we then transfer the design to Lino before carving with a fine tool. Every picture is hand printed and therefore unique. We use vegetable oil-based inks and 300gsm Snowden Paper.
