Handprinted Christmas Card - Starry Nights on Islay, Port Charlotte Lighthouse

A hand printed linocut card created on the Isle of Islay off the west coast of Scotland.

This card is blank inside for your own message and measures 140mm x 140mm.

Loch Indaal Lighthouse at Port Charlotte was built in 1869 and is a fantastic example of Stevenson engineering. With the Paps of Jura visible across the loch, in winter their snowy peaks make for a really dramatic landscape.  This card was designed in autumn 2021, after sketching, the design is transferred onto Japanese Lino and carved with a fine tool. Each card is individually handprinted and is therefore subtly unique. All our cards and envelopes are made using 100% recycled paper.
