Handprinted Christmas Card - Islay Bauble

A handprinted linocut card inspired by and created on the Isle of Islay, off the west coast of Scotland.

This card is blank inside for your own message and measures 104mm x 147mm. The card is made from 280g 100% recycled hairy manilla (Kraft Brown) paper and comes with a Kraft brown envelope.

Islay Bauble

This design was created in autumn 2023, I was sketching traditional Christmas baubles and thought how lovely it would be to have an Islay inspired bauble, a Christmas card of one hanging on a pine branch was the next best thing for a printmaker! After sketching, the design is transferred onto Japanese lino, before carving and printing. Every card is individually hand printed and therefore subtly unique. We use vegetable oil-based inks and our cards and envelopes are made from recycled paper.
