Handprinted Card - Snowdrops - Isle of Islay

The first flowers of the year – Snowdrops, Galanthus nivalis bring us so much joy – a sign of longer, lighter days with Spring now not too far away. This linocut was designed in January 2022 sitting on the banks of the River Sorn in Bridgend Woods on the Isle of Islay. After sketching, the design is transferred onto lino and carved with a fine tool. Each card is individually handprinted and is therefore subtly unique. This card is blank inside for your own message and measures 140mm x 140mm. The card is made from good quality 270g recycled paper, it comes with a Kraft envelope.
