Mute Swans

Mute Swans are common across the UK. The female is called a pen, and the male a cob, they often mate for life both having a committed role in rearing their cygnets. This piece was designed in early 2022, after sketching the design is transferred onto linoleum and carved using a fine tool. Each card is individually handprinted and is therefore subtly unique.
