Allium Cristophii - Gold Handprinted Christmas Card

This linocut was inspired by the stunning Allium Cristophii plants we grow in our garden here on Islay. During December we collect their dried seed heads and spray them red or gold to decorate our home during the festive period. It was designed in autumn using the previous years seed heads as a guide,

After sketching, we transfer the design onto lino and carved with a fine tool. Each card is then individually handprinted and is therefore subtly unique. 

This card is blank inside for your own message and measure 140mm x 140mm. It is made from good quality 300g recycled paper and supplied with a brown Kraft envelope.
